Great location, comfortable room sizes and the gym is a great bonus.

even though there was few things to improve, Hotel is definitely worth recommendation. Staff is extremely helpful and pr

professional and friendly staff. I felt very welcomed. Location of the property is perfect as a base for a trip. very tasty food in room service.

My room (even though it was perfectly clean and prepared for a guest), requires a maintenance - marks of humidity was visible on all of the walls and humidity was easy to spot, equipment in my room like hairdryer and telephone was not working. and water pressure in the shower was extremely low.

Clean and comfortable with extra touches. Friendly staff.

Very clean room and bathroom. Enough room for baggage. There is a desk and two chairs. Curtains on the window blocked the light out. Nice touches as robes, slippers, hair shower cap. Location is oaky, without being in the middle of a very busy or noisy area. Easy enough to get to everywhere. Staff super friendly and helpful. Check out until 11am

The only thing that was not great was the shower drain not draining properly and there was a smell in the bathroom probably because of the blocked pipes. Also the laundry van made a lot of noise around 5am right outside our window. Always advisable to carry earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

All members of staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast staff were absolutely great always on the ball with replenishing the hot food and clearing of tables, great start to our day.

The bathroom tissue box only had 1 tissue in it. (Had to put something in this box) just so this is made correct for future guests.

The location of the hotel is fine, not to far from the historical centre. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bedroom light wasn't working properly. A small fridge/bar in the room would have been practical.

Bed was super comfy, blackout curtains were a life saver, fridge was great and bathroom was stunning. Staff were also very nice and welcoming. The amount of lights and mirrors was brilliant and the bathroom mirror and lights made getting ready so easy. The sofa bed was also very comfy and was very handy for putting our stuff onto. The hotel being so central was so handy.Will be back to stay again!

Maybe some more towels in the bedroom as it was myself and my friend and we both have long hair so two towels each would have been better but didn’t impact on the stay.

The room was dirty clearly was not cleaned properly before we arrived, from dirty carpets to stained sheets which looked like blood stains. Paid for a privilege suite to which I was very disappointed as I did not notice the difference than an ordinary room, room was very small.

very expensive for a room in the basement in the dark bar is actually the reception desk. no space no feel of quality that you expect from 4 star hotel the staff however were professionals , helpful and friendly

The room was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning, it was however very small.

The staff while friendly were difficult to communicate with as their English was not very good. The breakfast was well below average and the breakfast facility was not very good. I do not think it was good value for money, would not use this facility again or recommend to friends.

The hotel was a short walk to all of the main places in Edinburgh that you would want to be. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was very well situated. Walking distance to the city and the Royal mile. Excellent location for a site seeing trip.

A bit noisy as our bedroom was overlooking the front and there were traffic noises early in the morning when the bin men arrived. Very friendly

I didn’t want to use the card that I booked with to pay for stay so we changed it to another on check out however the money was taken out of my available cash balance so I cudnt access any cash for 5 days, on phoning the hotel I didn’t find the staff very helpful they passed the blame on to my bank who cudnt release the cash until the hotels merchant bank contacted them, very inconvenient after spending a nice wkend away
